Maritime Medicine / Health

Occudocs performs and provides medical services to the maritime industries, including cruise ship employees, yachtsman, fishing and shipping as well as all offshore work.

According to the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCGA) in the United Kingdom, their ENG1 certificate is deemed equivalent to the local SAMSA Seafaring Certificate. Accordingly, there is no need for the added expense and time to seek out or obtain an ENG1 certificate in South Africa. The SAMSA certificate is 100% equivalent.
